서울과학기술대학교 도자문화학과는 미국, 중국, 일본, 동남아시아의 여러 나라 등과 지난 30여 년간 도자기 전시와 워크샾, 학생교류를 통하여 국제적인 문화예술의 변화와 새로운 인식을 공유하며 발전 해 왔습니다.
도자문화학과에서는 2008년부터 W展을 통하여 MOU를 맺은 외국대학들과 매년 Cyber전시를 함으로 그 동안 쌓았던 관계를 더욱 친밀하게 하고, 이 전시는 각 대학의 교수, 학생들의 변화되고 발전하는 교육현장과 더욱 실질적인 교류 Program으로 발전을 도모하려는데 그 의의가 있었습니다.
서울과학기술대학은 2012년 새 건물로 이전하여 조형대학의 새로운 vision과 함께 모든 시설이 교수와 학생의 예술 작업을 하기에 부족함이 없이 변화되었습니다. 특별히 2014년 W전은 새로이 오픈한 조형대학 갤러리에서 전시를 갖게 되었으며, 도자문화학과는 현대도예의 발전과 확장을 위하여 앞으로 더욱 많은 대학과 국제교류를 할 예정이며, 끝으로 W전에 전시를 위해 애써주신 각 대학의 교수님들에게 무한한 감사를 드립니다.

For more than thirty years, the Ceramic Art & Design department of Seoul National University of Science and Technology, in partnerships with U.S.A., China, Japan, and other countries in Southeast Asia, has been holding exhibitions, workshops, and exchange programs to share the new trends of culture and arts internationally.
Ceramic & Art department has been keeping close ties with the universities in MOU by holding ‘W exhibition’ annually since 2008, and this cyber exhibition has been a foothold to encourage new changes and developments among professors and students at each participating universities and to promote a more effective exchange program.
College of Fine Arts relocated to a new building in 2012 which has new facilities to support the art work of professors and students. Specially, the 2014 W Exhibition is to be held offline at our newly opened gallery at Seoul National University of Science and Technology. The Ceramic Art & Design department of Seoul National University of Science and Technology will continue to create many opportunities to work with international universities for the advancements and expansion of contemporary ceramic art. We would like to thank all of the professors from each university who have made this exhibition possible.
